Growing Together Through Roses, Education, and Community
The Arlington Rose Foundation is the largest non-profit organization dedicated to rose culture in Virginia, serving the vibrant communities of Northern Virginia, Southern Maryland, and Washington, DC. Our mission is rooted in two core objectives: to provide public education on rose growing and care, and to offer ongoing support to the historic Bon Air Memorial Gardens. Through expert-led seminars, hands-on consultations, exciting garden tours, and exclusive member benefits, we foster a welcoming space where rose lovers of all experience levels can learn, connect, and grow together.
Member Benefits
Benefits of membership include:
- Country Store: Organic fertilizers, microbes pruning tools, deer repellents, microbes and disease control products, are sold at near wholesale prices in our pop-up store.
- Seminars/Webinars: Programs by Consulting Rosarians are presented on topics ranging from fertilization to photography. These seminars are generally held at Merrifield Garden Center- Fair Oaks location or garden-side.
- Rose garden consultation: Receive individual attention by inviting a Consulting Rosarian, rose expert, for garden-side advice.
- Rose Bush Sale or Auction: Buy healthy potted rose bushes at bargain prices
- Garden tours: Fun events are organized and hosted for your enjoyment.
- Volunteer events: Members learn and grow their rose skills by partnering with experts at various events.
- Rose Advisor: Every quarter, we cover garden tips, insights and upcoming events in our e-newsletter, so please be sure we have your e-mail address.
- Spring Rose & Photography Show: Showcase your beautiful blooms and photography for awards and public viewing!
- Affiliation with American Rose Society: Receive a one month trial membership, which entitles you to a copy of nationally acclaimed American Rose magazine and free admission for certain gardens nationwide.
